Straight Talk Nokia E71 Review

It has been a while since my last review but I am excited to review this phone the Nokia E71 from Straight Talk, the thing that is exciting about this particular phone is the fact it's not locked down like many of the other phones that have come out by this company. This phone when put on Straight Talk's $45 Unlimited plan (your not allowed to use the $30 all you need plan) has the ability to use many of the features that have become standard on many of the other smart phones and in many cases the big market phone companies cannot compare to this one. So the phone feels solid when you first get it in your paws, and for some this may be a good thing and some a bad, I love it myself after breaking many phones in the past because they were not solid. The charger for this phone was so small, I then realized it had been along time since I had used a Nokia phone, these guys really do make good stuff. The Symbian operating system is still the operating system used on these phones and it has the same feel that it did when it first came out, which once again may annoy some but for others the familiarity will be a breath of fresh air. The phone connects at 3G and 3.5G and when the signal is bad out of town it will uses the Edge packet data connection to check email etc. I went to youtube mobile site and found that it loaded the video up in little time so that was a bonus. There is lots of applications pre-installed so the thing was set to go straight out of the box. The only thing that was a pain was that there was no USB data cable included which I really hoping was included, I got one for $15 dollars anyway so it's all good. That battery life is good not needing a charge for a few days after heavy use. So great phone all round would love to hear other people experiences with this phone.
